About RSDC

RSDC Laghubitta (RSDCMF) is the fourth microfinance institution of its kind in Nepal and the first and only wholesale microfinance institution with its registered office outside the Kathmandu Valley. It inaugurated operations on 26 Bhadra 2070 (11 September 2013) from Butwal in western Nepal, and is licensed by Nepal Rastra Bank as a Class-D financial institution. Unlike retail microfinance, RSDC operates a wholesale model, providing deprived-sector funds to cooperatives and partner microfinance/community organizations, which in turn lend to end members, alongside promotional and capacity-building support. It is listed on NEPSE under the symbol RSDC.
