Nabil Visa Domestic Credit Card
A credit card is a revolving credit line issued by a Nepali bank that lets you spend up to an approved limit and repay either in full within an interest-free period (typically 15-45 days) or in part with interest charged on the outstanding balance. In Nepal cards are mostly domestic Rupee cards (Visa/MasterCard, usable in Nepal and India) or international/dollar (FCY) cards for online and overseas spending, issued in Standard, Gold and Platinum tiers. They are aimed at salaried employees, professionals and business owners with a verifiable income, and at anyone willing to pledge a fixed deposit as security (FD-lien card). Approval depends on income proof, a clean CIB (Credit Information Bureau) record and NRB-mandated KYC; most banks issue the card within roughly 3-10 working days and it stays valid for 3-5 years.
