Aarambha Chautari Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited is a leading national-level microfinance institution formed through a merger under NRB's merger policy, with predecessor institutions established around 2014-2015. It operates across 57 districts of Nepal through a community-based network of 134+ units serving over 100,000 clients with 500+ employees. The institution uses the Joint Liability Group (JLG) five-member group-lending model where members serve as mutual guarantors, with loans ranging from NPR 5,000 to NPR 700,000. It offers credit, savings, training, micro-insurance and health-campaign services to underserved communities.
