About Mithila
Mithila Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Ltd. (MLBBL) was established on December 22, 2008 with its head office at Dhalkewar, Dhanusha, and is licensed by Nepal Rastra Bank as a Class "D" microfinance ("Laghubitta") institution (License No. "D" 073/49/04). It operates a network of 45 branches across eight districts of Madhesh Province (Dhanusha, Mahottari, Siraha, Sarlahi, Saptari, Bara, Rautahat and Parsa). The institution provides micro-credit, compulsory and voluntary member savings, remittance and protection (micro-insurance) schemes, lending primarily to women and deprived-sector members through group and center-based methodology. It is listed on the Nepal Stock Exchange under the symbol MLBBL.
