About Laxmi
Laxmi Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited was registered on November 30, 2010 and received its NRB operating license on March 6, 2012, becoming the first microfinance institution in Nepal registered as a subsidiary of a commercial bank (Laxmi Sunrise Bank). It commenced operations from its first branch in Battar, Nuwakot and has since expanded to roughly 73 branches across 52 of Nepal's 77 districts. The institution's mission is to improve quality of life through inclusive and sustainable microfinance services for the poor and disadvantaged, promoting economic activity in un-served and underserved areas. It is listed on NEPSE under the symbol LLBS.
