About Himalayan
Himalayan Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited was incorporated as a public limited company on 1st Chaitra 2067 (15 March 2011) and operates as a subsidiary of Himalayan Bank Limited; it was formerly known as Civil Laghubitta. It is a Nepal Rastra Bank licensed Class-D microfinance serving deprived and low-income members, mostly women, through group/center-based and individual micro-lending. As of Chaitra-end 2082 (Q3 FY2082/83) it operated 75 branches across all 7 provinces of Nepal. Products span compulsory and voluntary member savings, micro and micro-enterprise loans, remittance and micro-insurance.
