About Asha
Asha Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Ltd. (ALBSL) was established under the Bank and Financial Institution Act, 2063 and began operations around 2075 BS (2016), originally rooted in Nuwakot District. As a national-level microfinance institution it focuses on financial inclusion and poverty alleviation, serving deprived groups, women and small entrepreneurs in rural and semi-urban areas. It delivers microloans, member savings, micro-insurance, remittance and financial-literacy training through a network of branches across all seven provinces. Its head office is in Sanga, Banepa, Kavrepalanchok, and it is listed on NEPSE under the symbol ALBSL.
